Description
Brake dust is hot metal particles embedded in the wheel face. Scrubbing alone will not shift it and harsh acids will dull the finish trying. This dissolves the bond so the dust rinses away.
How to use it
- Work on cool wheels, out of direct sun. Never spray a hot wheel straight off a drive.
- Spray the face, barrel and behind the spokes.
- Dwell for a few minutes, agitate with a wheel brush, then rinse thoroughly.
Good to know
Safe on alloy, painted and coated wheels. Test on polished, anodised or bare-metal finishes first, as those react differently to almost every chemical.
